6 things to do in Minecraft when you’re bored

Markus “Notch” Persson created a finer world than God himself, because on average more people enjoy their time in Minecraft.

In this blog, My aim is to introduce to you new ways to play and enjoy Minecraft. I will be giving you 6 ways for you to try out to satisfy your boredom of Minecraft.

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures. Minecraft has been developed by Mojang, Markus Persson, Telltale Games, Xbox Game Studios, 4J Studios, Other Ocean Interactive and was published by Mojang, Sony Interactive Entertainment, NetEase, Telltale Games, Xbox Game Studios. It’s set in infinitely-generated worlds of wide open terrain – icy mountains, swampy bayous, vast pastures and much more – filled with secrets, wonders and peril!

Things to do in Minecraft:

  1. Download a mod – There are hundreds, if not thousands of Minecraft mods available to the public and there is always someone out there creating a new mod for you to try out in Minecraft. A mod is an alteration by players or fans of a video game that changes one or more aspects of a video game.
  1. Play with friends – Although playing Survival or Hardcore alone in Minecraft is great and all, but playing with friends is a different story —if you have friends. Playing with other people really changes things in Minecraft, you get to have people to help you fight hostile mobs, you get to progress quicker in the game, and you can finish your buildings much faster with them.
  1. Mess around in Creative – Minecraft offers you a variety of skills that you can learn and improve, if you put your mind to it. You can learn redstone and make complex machinery, you can learn noteblocks and create your own musical compositions, and you can learn building and build your own architectural artworks.

Now if you have already done all the things mentioned above then you can try out these large-scale projects to keep you busy for a long period time.

  1. Plant 20,000,000 trees in Minecraft – What better way to give publicity to the #TeamTrees campaign than planting 20,000,000 trees in Minecraft.
  1. Build a kingdom – You can build historical kingdoms like The Grand Duchy of Lithuania or fictional kingdoms like CaptainSparklez’s Fallen Kingdom.
  1. Make pixel art – Since Minecraft is literally a game made out of blocks, this makes it a great medium for creating pixel art. You can create iconic pixelated characters like Mario or you can create a portrait of a person like your beloved—that is if you have someone.
